Command line: PC_MESH_VERTEX_DELETE
The command deletes a vertex from an existing surface (Submesh or Polyface mesh) and rebuilds triangulation. The position of the contour lines is also updated if they were built.
The vertex to be deleted is highlighted in red.
The command options are set in the Properties bar.
Options:

Type of vertex deletion |
Vertex-Points are selected manually. Multiple points can be deleted sequentially. Pressing ESC completes the command. Frame-Select points with a frame. When selecting the Frame deletion type, an additional option appears – Fill the space. |

Fill the space |
Yes - New triangles are created after deletion. No- Deletion without filling the space with new triangles. |
Command prompts:

Apply changes [Yes/No/Save/saveDefault] <Yes>: |
Yes – the command will be performed taking into account the changes made to the settings by the user during the current command session. No – the command will be performed with the settings that were displayed immediately after the command was run. Save – saves the settings to the document. saveDefault – saves the settings to the registry. |

Specify first corner or [Open Settings]: |
Specify the points to be deleted with the frame. |

Select vertex to delete or [Open Settings]: |
Specify vertices one by one. |

Several vertices can be deleted in succession. Pressing ESC button ends the command.
